1/4 Chilean, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/4 Other/Unknown - Victor's Julius is the son of the famous Accoyo Victor (MF) and Grace's Vision of Sugarplum (LSG). This pedigree has produced multiple award winning alpacas in brown, fawn, bay black, grey and true black. He has produced more females than males in a variety of colors. Julius is throwing great fiber to his progeny! He is definitely a fleece improvement male for any female that he is bred to. He tends to throw fleeces with lower CV's.
Great Temperament, Excellent Conformation, Perfect Bite, Dark Chocolate Brown Color, Bright Fleece, Excellent Lock Structure, Fiber Density, Wonderful "Look at Me" Presence, Proper Balance, Great Bone & Fleece Coverage, Very little medulated fiber!

1/8 Chilean, 7/8 Peruvian - Makella has it all - gorgeous fleece with uniformity, soft handle, fineness, tight crimp, and density, along with beautiful conformation, a perfect bite, and ribbon-winning presence. Makella has won 4 blue ribbons in 3 different show types - shorn halter, halter, and fleece - proving that she is a complete package. With her 3.5-year-old fleece she won a blue ribbon and RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION in the Northwest Alpaca Showcase 2007! The following year she won 2nd at Nationals with her 4.5-year-old fleece, beating some very well-known farms. The fact that Makella maintains ROYAL fineness and UNIFORMITY as she ages is exactly what we are breeding for.
Makella has superior genetics in her background (Peruvian Accolade, Peruvian Augusto, Peruvian El Moustachio) and passes them on to her crias in prime form. She has now given us 3 lovely brown girls with incredibly soft handling fleece & fantastic conformation.
UNIFORMITY! This girl is the epitome of uniformity. She has fineness, great density from head to tail, brightness, crimp, very little guard hair - and all of it is uniform! Even Judge Sharon Loner commented on her uniformity at the Northwest Alpaca Showcase in 2008, placing her first in her class. Baja also has lovely conformation, with that 'model' style just like her dam. Victor's Julius was a terrific match for Makella. Both are championship award winners. And together they bring big name Peruvian genetics: Victor and Accolade are Baja's grandsires, with greatgrandsires Cisco Kid, Augusto, and El Moustachio.
Baja has produced 5 phenomenal offspring so far. Her first is a gorgeous classic rose grey girl, Teva, out of the grey champion Stratus Cloud. She's beautiful - crimpy, dense, extremely soft. The following year Baja surprised us with a bright white, extremely fine, uniform, and tightly crimped male, Rocky. Rocky is out of the top award winning rose grey, Premier's Rubio, and now has his own progeny on the ground. For 2011, Baja produced white again, this time out of MSA Peruvian Tequila Sunrise (champion beige with elite bloodlines). This boy's fleece feels like down feathers. It's incredible - his first fleece is at 14 microns AFD, he has wonderful crimp style, and he's dense! ET also now has progeny on the ground! Next came a brown female, Italia, out of Alpaca Adventures' Milano. Italia has that silky, bright, incredibly uniform fleece that you want to keep touching. Italia will have her own cria in 2017.
Short story long, Baja is proving to be a wonderful mom, and a fantastic producer. We can put her with any color and love the result. In fact, the result is so dependable, that even a male is welcome from Baja as chances are high that he will be stud worthy!
Baja has produced a silky and sweet little guy in 2019 with her color. Looking forward to seeing this boy's fleece come shearing in May!
